As an Online Marketing Manager, you oversee all aspects of the marketing campaigns in different countries across the world. This includes the development of campaigns and media strategies, day to day operations and ensuring all campaigns are delivered on time and within budget. You will be responsible for project managing all the campaigns from beginning to end to ensure they meet all the target objectives.

 

In this role you report directly to the marketing director as part of the marketing team. Your time is dedicated to the DGTL Global projects and will work alongside the teams around the world in; Amsterdam, Barcelona, Santiago, Saō Paulo and Tel Aviv.

Your typical day includes:

  • Create, implement, purchase, trafficking & optimising PPC/Performance media across various platforms including Facebook, YouTube, AdWords, Instagram and DoubleClick
  • Execute day-to-day management and optimization of DGTL Paid Search, SEO and Social Media Ad Campaigns
  • Deliver and explain campaign analytics in reporting and offer appropriate strategic advice to marketing director
  • Drive traffic to Spotify and other DSPs to generate streams and help our playlists gain more followers.
  • Anticipate on changes in the rapidly evolving marketing technology field and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Maximize growth and conversion via our online channels (paid and organic) by applying your insights and experience
  • Implement, monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of online marketing activities, and will inform the marketing director of various targets revolving around marketing campaigns/ROI and revenues

This job might be for you if you have:

  • Proven experience, preferably online marketing experience at an advertising agency.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ work experience in online marketing
  • Specialized track record of strong Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Paid Search (PPC) skills
  • Google AdWords Certified
  • You’ve acquired a relevant degree in Business Marketing, Communication or Commercial Economy, at least ‘hbo’ (Dutch standard) or a bachelor’s degree
  • Proven analytical skills with the ability to track and report on campaign results
  • Strong knowledge or experience in internet businesses, media buying/planning, campaign strategy, and all digital media campaigns
  • Organized work style and exceptional attention to detail
  • You don’t object to working beyond regular office hours and in the weekends Knowledge of dance music is required
  • You (preferably) live in or near Amsterdam, the Netherlands or you are willing to move there

Within this role you operate in the DGTL Global team. The social media manager will be responsible for executing activities for the DGTL Global campaign, from social media execution to liaising with our content creator to produce assets or working with online marketeer. This role is full time and with an immediate start. 


You will work under the marketing director as part of the marketing team, with your time dedicated to the DGTL Global projects and will work alongside the teams in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Santiago, Saō Paulo and Tel Aviv. 

Description 

● You will manage several social media channels to promote releases, content and DGTL as a whole. This includes managing Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Soundcloud and further online channels.

● You are responsible for the planning being published online on time, monitoring your campaign results and develop the digital content landscape of our events, including; DGTL web pages, e-mail database, streaming service channels and social media accounts.

● Creating, executing, and assessing the online marketing strategy and content plan together with the marketing- and online manager with predetermined budget and resources. 

● Generating rich and engaging content for releases across a range of channels. 

● You will create social media reports of campaigns with the online campaign manager and are always looking to optimize our social media strategy

● You will report the results to various departments and offer them the appropriate strategic advice

● You will decide on (and manage) new online initiatives that can enhance the company brand

● Follow and study the latest digital trends and propose new digital and social media development strategies within the Marketing Team.

● Make quantitative and qualitative analysis and metric reports of the digital and social media landscape of DGTL

● Pro-actively analyse and interpret social algorithms, online fan-behaviour/interaction, errors and optimize all online channels, including the event websites, based on the learnings and outcomes of your research.

● Strong ability to create creative copy for social media, websites and press releases.

 

Experience, Qualities, and Skills 

● Minimum of 3 years’ experience in social media content generation and community management. No longer than 6 months ago in the field.

● Experience in the event or entertainment industry would be an advantage.

● Good sense of brand positioning, marketing, planning and a strong depth of knowledge in electronic music. 

● You’ve acquired a relevant degree in Business Marketing, Communication or Commercial Economy, at least ‘HBO’ (Dutch standard) or a bachelor’s degree;

● Knowledge of digital advertising in Facebook Power Editor and Google Adwords (although we work with an online marketing department, it is important to understand how these work), Mailchimp (or similar e-mail programs) and Photoshop. 

● Experience analysing data from sales in combination with digital channels in order to create data-based approach to campaign development. 

● Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize them to meet strict goals and deadlines.
● Good sense of brand positioning, marketing and planning.
● You are well versed in the English and Dutch language, both in writing and in spoken word. Spanish would be an advantage. 
● Eye for creating content and sense for design.
